Grand Canyon walking track and car park OPEN from Saturday 11 June 2022

Evans Lookout, toilets and car park are closed for upgrade works until September 2022.

Visitors are encouraged to park in the Grand Canyon car park to access walking tracks and access has been provided around the Evans Lookout construction site.

The Grand Canyon car park has been upgraded to increase parking capacity and the toilets are open. 

The car park is open for vehicles; however it is under construction and further works will include sealing of the car park surface, signage and new toilets.

Notification of re-opening is not always possible via this distribution list. Track closures are updated regularly, please check here

The Evans Lookout upgrade is part of the NSW government Improving Access to National Parks program and more detail can be found at here or by contacting the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre on 02 4787 8877.
