From Local Idea to National Impact: The ALIBI Awards Story
By Australian Ladies in Business Initiative
Posted: 4 Jun 2025
Back in 2022, Blue Mountains local Kylie King wanted to make a change. After years of working with women in business, she noticed something missing and it was genuine recognition and celebration for those doing business their way. So she created it.
The ALIBI Awards (Australian Ladies in Business Initiative Awards) were born from that desire to honour every part of the business journey - not just the shiny highlights or when certain milestones are reached but the quiet wins, the messy middles, and the moments that took the most courage.
Now in their fourth year, the awards have grown into a national movement with 24 categories and entrants from all across Australia. From side hustlers to seasoned CEOs, ALIBI celebrates women who show up with authenticity, integrity and courage.
Nominations are now open and close on the 4th August at here
