Free Event To Help Small Businesses Slash Their Energy Bills
Blue Mountains City Council has partnered with Low Carbon Living Blue Mountains and the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment to organise a workshop that will outline how to be more energy efficient.
Attendees will be shown how to:
- Understand how their business uses energy.
- Analyse their energy bills.
- Identify energy saving opportunities, including no-cost and low-cost solutions, and
- Learn about further funding options and resources.
Mayor Cr Mark Greenhill said supporting small businesses is a key priority for Council.
“This free training will show business owners and their staff how to become as energy efficient as possible. This will help reduce their overall costs and help the environment too.”
As part of Small Business Month, each business represented at the course will also receive a free two-hour, one-on-one coaching session with an expert energy advisor, worth $400 (to be arranged at a later date).
