Free Community Worm Farm and Composting Workshop 2019

Register now to learn how to maintain a worm farm and backyard compost

The hour long workshop will be held on 2nd October 2019 from 2.30pm – 3.30pm at the Lithgow Library. People of all ages welcome with children over 8 years old.   The workshop will cover a range of interesting topics including;

  • How composts and worm farms can benefit your garden and reduce your waste
  • Setting up your own worm farm or compost system (including a practical demonstration of a ‘do it yourself’ worm farm)
  • What can go into your worm farm or compost system
  • Tips for maintaining your worm farm or compost system and solutions for common problems

Refreshments will be provided. For residents interested in attending this valuable workshop, please register your interest via the link or alternatively contact Council’s Environmental Educators EnviroCom on (02) 9724 3889.
