Dinosaur Valley is returning to Scenic World this summer, bringing the Jurassic rainforest to life with prehistoric dinosaurs from November 27 – January 31.

Following the tremendous success of the inaugural event in 2018-19, Dinosaur Valley will take visitors on a journey through time to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs in the heart of the Blue Mountains.

Joined by friendly Dinosaur Rangers, visitors of all ages will meet prehistoric dinosaurs up close among towering ancient rainforest, learn fun facts about prehistoric creatures, and see dinos in action with the escarpment as a backdrop.

Catch a T-rex in action, see a migrating triceratops family feeding in the valley, and wrap up the adventure with a ride on the world’s steepest railway.

Everyone will have a roaring time, with Kids’ Trail Guides and Junior Ranger Packs available to continue the fun at home.

An extensive range of accommodation packages will also be available with local hotels and resorts, allowing visitors to extend their stay and make the most of a weekend getaway in the Blue Mountains.

Scenic World Managing Director Anthea Hammon said she was thrilled to bring Dinosaur Valley back to the Blue Mountains following the event’s standout success in 2018.

“Dinosaur Valley is a natural fit for our Jurassic rainforest setting and we look forward to capturing our visitors’ imagination with an exclusive experience that leaves a lasting impact,” she said, adding that it provided the perfect excuse to escape to the Blue Mountains.

“Whether you’re a nature lover or a seasoned dino fan, Dinosaur Valley will be one to remember.”

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Descend into the ancient Jurassic rainforest onboard the Scenic Cableway
  • Step back in time with friendly Dinosaur Rangers in the heart of the Blue Mountains
