Council Welcomes New Chief Finance & Information Officer
“Mr Gurney comes to Lithgow as a highly qualified professional with significant financial experience in the local government sector and commenced duties with us last Monday.” said the General Manager.
“Mr Gurney’s background includes seven years working in senior Finance roles at Blue Mountains City Council and prior to that working as a Chief Financial Officer in the private sector. Mr Gurney is a fellow of CPA Australia, has a business degree and a Masters degree in Accounting.”
“Mr Gurney is an important addition to Council’s Senior Management Team as we proceed to position Council financially for the future” said Mr Faulkner.
