Community Worm Farm and Composting Workshop Returning in 2018
This hour-long workshop will be held on the 5th February 2018 from 4-5pm at Lithgow library and will provide residents with information on a range of topics, including:
- How composts and worm farms can benefit your garden and reduce your waste
- Setting up your own worm farm or compost system (including a practical demonstration of a ‘do it yourself’ worm farm)
- What can go into your worm farm or compost system
- Tips for maintaining your worm farm or compost system and solutions for common problems
Refreshments will be provided, and all attendees will go into the draw to win a free worm farm as a lucky door prize on the day. For residents interested in attending, please contact Council’s Environmental Educators, EnviroCom, by no later than 1st February on (02) 9724 3889. Bookings are essential.
