Springwood Cemetery Masterplan is open for consultation
Council is inviting the community to share their feedback on the Draft Springwood Cemetery Masterplan.

The Masterplan is a crucial step in ensuring that the cemetery can meet the needs of the community now and into the future, while preserving its natural beauty and historical value.

Blue Mountains Mayor Mark Greenhill said: “The Springwood Cemetery is an integral part of our local community, providing a respectful space for families and offering vital services.

“As we plan for its future, it is essential that we engage with the community to ensure that their needs are understood and incorporated into the masterplan.

“This consultation will allow residents to have their say on important matters such as burial options, accessibility improvements, and the preservation of the cemetery’s heritage.”

“The input we receive will play a critical role in shaping the cemetery’s future and ensuring it remains a place of peace and reflection for generations to come,” said Cr Greenhill.

Consultation is open from 15 May 2025 to 20 June 2025.
