Businesses rally behind community event
One such event is the annual Leura Harvest Festival which returns after a brief hiatus on Saturday 6 May. The Festival brings together all of the traditional events you'd expect to enjoy at a country show, including: Chocolate Cake Competition, Scarecrow Competition, Jam Making Competition and a Pet Chook Show. So get making and baking!
Well done to everyone involved, especially the sponsors and judges: Belle Property, Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains by MGallery, Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa, Katoomba Mitre 10, Raine & Horne Leura, The Carrington Hotel, Josophan's Fine Chocolates, Birches of Leura, and the hardworking volunteers from the Leura Harvest Festival committee and the NSW RFS - Katoomba/Leura Brigade. Not forgetting the fantastic poster artwork of Kara Cooper fromMount Vic and Me. See you there!
