Bollywood superstar Parineeti Chopra will showcase the Blue Mountains to her millions of followers around the world, when she visits some of the region’s most iconic attractions this week.

The visit has been supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, in collaboration with Tourism Australia. It is Ms Chopra’s second visit to Australia as part of Tourism Australia’s Friend of Australia campaign.

NSW MLC Shayne Mallard said Ms Chopra’s significant social media following would ensure the stunning Blue Mountains are seen by potential visitors all around the world.

“Parineeti Chopra is a leading Bollywood actress, A-list celebrity and social media influencer, boasting 12.9 million followers on Instagram, 11.7 million on Twitter and 10.6 million on Facebook,” Mr Mallard said.

“During her visit, Ms Chopra will enjoy a visit to Scenic World and explore the Blue Mountains National Park.

“Through sharing her experience on social media, Ms Chopra’s millions of followers will see why the Blue Mountains’ dazzling natural attractions make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Australia,” he said.

As part of her visit to NSW, Ms Chopra will also enjoy the Bondi Coastal Walk, lunch at Bondi Icebergs and a Sydney Tallship experience on Sydney Harbour.
