2022 is proving to be an exciting year for local Blue Mountains business Fusion Boutique.
As well as being a finalist for the third year in a row in the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) in the Excellence in Arts & Culture category they have also been selected as a finalist in the Woman in Performing and Creative Arts category in this year’s Western Sydney Women Awards, as well as a finalist in both the 2022 Australian Ladies in Business Initiative Awards – Enduring Brilliance, and Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards in the Performing Arts categories!

Charity Mirow, sole trader of Fusion Boutique says "I am beyond thrilled to learn of all the finalist selections and I am hopeful for the next stages as I am in amongst some other very strong contenders in each award category. I feel so privileged to be a finalist in all the four platforms and receive recognition for my ongoing work and continued drive in bolstering the creative arts scene, and the continuing perseverance needed, especially through the unprecedented events that we have faced over the previous years.

The Australian Ladies in Business Initiative (ALIBI) Awards, ‘Enduring Brilliance’ category selection was based on the longevity of my endeavours, and my ongoing community involvement and the support of others in business. I have been presenting and promoting live entertainment and unique events in the Blue Mountains for over 13 years. In this time, I have provided high calibre live music experiences to local audiences ‘in their own backyard’, while providing artists with wonderful, respectful opportunities and bringing vital overnight tourism to the region."

The Western Sydney Woman in Performing & Creative Arts Award is dedicated to the entire performing arts and creative arts sector. It recognises woman who have pioneered, succeeded in or positively impacted the industry and community. They are looking for woman with creativity, community and also business savvy in their approach to making a difference in these sectors.

Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) provides a platform to recognise the businesses and professionals who are actively driving the Greater Western Sydney region to new heights. WSABE noted that this stands as one of the programs most competitive years and is a testament to the resilience, innovation, and determination of our business community as they have been forced to operate in new ways against the backdrop of an ongoing global pandemic.
Fusion Boutique has been selected as an ‘Excellence in Arts & Culture’ WSABE finalist for the third year running.

“I feel that the 2022 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards – Performing Arts category is a tremendous achievement and it is such an honour to be recognised as a woman champion within small business in the performing arts industry at a national level.
I am grateful to all the award organisers and sponsors and I look forward to seeing how things develop, but either way these acknowledgments are encouraging and echo the sentiments of our lovely, appreciative guests and artists.
I urge everyone who is able to come out and support our live music industry wherever possible. It has been such a challenging few years and continues to be so. If you can, please also commit to ticket sales as early as possible to help support the artists, organisers and everyone involved. Fusion Boutique pre-sales are also discounted too. We have some fabulous “listening space” shows coming up including a number of family friendly shows. For more information and to book online visit: here"
