Blackheath Golf Weekly Results
Wednesday 20th February was our regular Single Stableford and 2BBB. Low marker Shane Murphy (4) had a win with 39 pts, beating home Ian (Eagle) Evans (5) with 35. The 2BBB prize went to David Jones (20) and John Hickson (28) with 47 pts, Runners up were Stuart Brown (13) and Shane Murphy with 42. NTP winner on the 5th hole was Roger Pierce (292cm) and on the 17th, Shane Murphy (176cm). Balls went to 33 on c/b.
Saturday 23rd February we held a Bisque Par with Scratch prize sponsored by Andrew Komma.
Visitors from Killara, Tallwoods, Cromer and Leura in a good size field. Greg Nankervis Snr (36) triumphed with a great score of +11 edging out a very unlucky Brian Tulloch (15) on +10. In third place was Club Captain Michael Mole (10) on +8 on c/b.Scratch prize was awarded to Paul Sebbens (6) -5 on c/b. Well done to all on a day which saw some great scoring, helped by the beautiful condition of the course. There was no Thursday competition due to the weather.
Saturday 23rd February, the Ladies held a Single Stableford with generous sponsorship by Ros Starkey. Winner on the day was Louise Draper (29) with 32 points. Runner up, Cindy Fitzgerald (17) continued her constant improvement with 31. Cindy topped off a great day by winning the Ladies Pro Pin of $350!
Friday 22nd February was our 9 hole competition which was taken out by ex-Blackheathian Bruce Reoch with 21 points on c/b, nice to see you back Bruce. This comp is open to anyone with a GA handicap, $5 for members and $15 for Non Members. All you need is a marker.
