The current and forecast wet weather has resulted in Lithgow City Council having to make the difficult decision to postpone the popular LithGlow event which was scheduled for this coming Saturday 11 May.
Council understands that many in the community look forward to LithGlow. Council’s events team will be immediately commencing planning to ensure that a rescheduled fun, exciting and engaging LithGlow can be held later this year. Further information will be provided at the earliest opportunity.
LithGlow showcases our local heritage in a spectacular light display which not only attracts visitors from around NSW, but also visiting friends and family, so it is with great regret that for the first time in the history of LithGlow the event will not be held in May due to the weather.
