Autumn is Bigger and Better at Mayfield Garden
Mayfield Garden suggests a minimum 4 hours to see the entire of 75 hectares including the Mayfield Maze.
The Moss Creek Garden features the rediscovered, Wollemi pine, Nicknamed the 'dinosaur tree' or 'living fossil.’ This tree is one of the most significant botanical discoveries of recent years, and it was discovered just down the road from Mayfield Garden in the Wollemi National Park. Native Australian plants complement the rock formations and the Wollemi pine.
We have something for everyone here at Mayfield. For our Mini Mayfielders, there will be activities to keep the kids busy during the Autumn school holidays, like the Mayfield Scavenger Hunt and the Easter Workshops (bookings required), Rowboats on Mayfield Lake, croquet, bocce, and giant chess.
Mayfield Scavenger Hunt - Download and print the free activity sheet and then find the answers to these questions throughout the garden. Solve puzzles and take pictures to celebrate your success and share on social media.
Download the Scavenger Hunt here.
