Australian Local Government Women’s Association Executive to Visit Lithgow

Lithgow City Council is hosting the Australian Local Government Women’s Association Executive this weekend.

This weekend Lithgow City Council has the pleasure of hosting a meeting of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) Executive.  The executive meeting will take place on Saturday with a welcome function to be held at the Lithgow Visitor Information Centre on Friday commencing at 5.30pm.

Lithgow Councillor, Councillor Cassandra Coleman is a member of the Executive and will be welcoming her executive colleagues together with Mayor Ray Thompson.

Councillor Coleman said today “As ALGWA Membership Officer I encourage all women who are in any way involved or interested in Local Government to join, for me personally it has provided numerous networking opportunities plus development and support.”
