Art Unlimited Dunedoo, Final Call for Entries

Following the success of Glenbrook-based artist Sonia Breckenridge at Art Unlimited in 2018, organisers of Art Unlimited are making a final call for entries to the 2019 exhibition. Sonia received 2 Highly Commended awards in the photography field for her artwork titled "Bobby" and "Push em Up" (pictured).

With less than two weeks until entries close, organizers of Art Unlimited, one of regional Australia’s most exciting art events, are making a final call for entries from artists, photographers and ceramicists. The annual competition will be staged in Dunedoo from 17 - 26 May 2019 and closing date for entry forms is Thursday 18 April 2019.

Judging will take place on Friday 17 May and winners will be announced at the preview reception that evening. Tickets are $35 must be pre-booked online. The exhibition at Dunedoo Central School Hall will be open to the public from Saturday 18 May until Sunday 26 May (9am-3pm) with an entry fee of $5 payable at the door.

The Art Unlimited committee is pleased to announce the esteemed judging panel for the 2019 exhibition:

Peabody Wilpinjong Hanging Art Prize - Sarah Gurich, Director, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery
Photography Prize - Jenny Davidson - Photography educator, Orange Campus of TAFE
Ceramics Prize - Geoff Thomas - Award winning potter and educator
Orana Arts Indigenous Artist Prize - Alicia Leggett, Executive Director, Orana Arts

Prizes for Art Unlimited 2019 include:

Peabody Wilpinjong Prize for Hanging Art – $3000
Art Unlimited Photography Prize – $3000
Art Unlimited Ceramics Prize – $3000
Dunedoo Rural Hardware People’s Choice Prize – $500
Orana Arts Indigenous Artist Prize – $500
ABC Western Plains Prize - $300 Prepaid Gif Card
The Janace Holmes Family Memorial Prize – $250
