April Falls Day

Frailty – do you know the signs? Did you know people don’t have to be over 65 years to be frail? What can be done? Find out the answers to these questions at an information stand to be held at the Lithgow Library.

Those who have chronic mental health, drug and alcohol issues, chronic medical or psychological conditions are at risk of frailty and falls. Being pre-frail or frail can happen at a younger age in the above populations, and should be recognized and treated.

Lithgow Health Service will be holding an information stand at Lithgow Library on Tuesday 9 April between 10am and 1pm. Come along and speak to the experts about how you can recognise the signs and access help. No bookings are required for this free session.
