Announcing the Blue Mountains' First Pop Culture Expo: Hubcon 2019 - Get Involved!

HubCon 2019 is a family friendly pop-culture mini-convention taking place at Blue Mountains Theatre & Community Hub in the July school holidays.

Bringing together fans, creators, vendors and curious spectators, HubCon will showcase a wide range of activities and events for all ages, including: cosplay; table-top gaming; special guests; film screenings; speaker panels and workshops; a collectors market; video gaming; kids’ zone and much more!  The full program of events will be released in May.

Community involvement will help create a truly amazing event, so local pop-culture content creators and fans are invited to come forward with their ideas and input.  Are you, or is someone you know, an artist, writer, comic or zine publisher, actor, professional costume maker, filmmaker, animator or fan club convenor…?  Blue Mountains Theatre would love to hear from you!  A range of volunteer opportunities will also be available. 

How to get involved:  Check out the HubCon website and register your area of interest or expertise as soon as possible.
