After a Spell Off the Road, Owen Campbell is Back!
Owen Campbell is one of Australia's premiere Blues/Roots/Rock performers who defies easy categorisation. He's a slide guitarist, a songwriter, banjo player, blues singer, busker, and more.
After a spell off the road, Owen is coming back with a new release, new songs and a fresh approach.
Known for his controversial appearance on Australia's Got Talent and constant touring and busking around the World, Owen's last three albums have been big budget productions, working in the US with the likes of Devon Allman amongst others. They have netted Owen continuous top 10 iTunes chart positions over the last 6 years, serving him well. Even as this is written Owen currently has the #2, #3 and #4 album on the Australian iTunes Charts (Blues). It is, however, time for a change and an opportunity for the artist to get back to his roots and a more natural song-writing process.
Owen will be touring new material this September through December in Part 1 and 2 of the Take Your Medicine Tour. Owen's performance for 'Metro Social' will be in full band mode.
