Residents have been urged not to attempt to remove graffiti on Lennox Bridge, the oldest bridge of its kind in Australia.

A Council contractor is due to start removing graffiti, at a cost of about $16,000, in the next two weeks. But it was reported on Friday, 19 July that well-meaning residents had already attempted to clean the bridge.
