We were also joined by our state and federal members, Trish Doyle and Susan Templeman who continue to work in government supporting women and children fleeing domestic violence, acknowledging the great need. Stories were shared on how our donation can specifically help those in need in day to day life.
Funds were raised at the Blue Mountains Quilt Show, held biannual by Blue Mountains Quilters in April of 2024 at Wycliffe Christian School. With over 170 quilts 14 Stallholders, guest quilter Anni Downs and a wonderful array of attendees, the show was a resounding success. Proceeds also support government high schools running a Texile syllabus.
