Blackheath Getaway is a beautifully restored and spacious 1920s original cottage located in the upper Blue Mountains in a quiet street, an easy walking distance (1km) to Blackheath station, village shops and restaurants including cafes, fine dining, pubs, delicatessens and a local supermarket. 2 hours drive from Sydney, the cottage is a peaceful retreat for those seeking adventures or pause from a busy life.

Take comfort in warm cosy beds with quality linens, an open fireplace, central heating, books and games, a well equipped kitchen and modern day luxuries like high speed internet and smart TV. Anchored in the past yet updated to the present, the cottage is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Blue Mountains.
Enter through a country garden. Once inside enjoy a space that feels open and airy yet warm and inviting, with all the creature comforts you could possibly need.
You will find a functional well-equipped spacious kitchen, open living area, 3 cosy bedrooms all with heating and comfortable quality bed linens and blankets, two and 1/2 bathrooms with underfloor heating, an open fire place and lots of quiet nooks to sit and read. The main bathroom combines the beauty of a deep footed bath for a relaxing soak and the modern luxury of a rainfall shower. There is a separate toilet and sink.
The open plan living leads to a large sunny north facing deck and BBQ ideal for alfresco dining.
Styled with antiques, eclectic collected wares and family heirlooms, our historic cottage received a modern makeover and renovation in 2024.

How To Get Here..
Blackheath Getaway is 2 hours drive from Sydney. After passing through Blackheath town on the Great Western Highway with the train tracks on your left, turn right at the Perry's Lookdown signage which is Hat Hill Road. We are about 1km down the road on the left hand side shortly after the public phone box on the right.
