Lyttleton Stores

Lyttleton Stores, located in the heritage listed first shop in Lawson (c1880), is now a not-for-profit, community run co-operative.

It involves collaboration between workers, organic farmers, backyard growers, local artisans, artists and skilled teachers of cooking, preserving, making and gardening.

The philosophy and ethics of the co-op is based on building a community through sharing knowledge and skills, with the aim of becoming a zero-waste facility, self-sufficient with solar power, rainwater and producing fresh produce in the demonstration garden.
