The fully self-contained accommodation at Ribbon-Gum Lodge is uniquely split into 2 completely private living quarters. The separate entrances provide privacy for individual lettings or larger groups can lease the whole lodge.
Ribbon Gum Lodge (sleeps 6 to 8 guests)
The lodge is a relaxing getaway with expansive windows overlooking a natural gully on the Katoomba/Leura border and is just minutes from the magnificent escarpments of the world heritage listed Blue Mountains. Recently refurbished, this rustic property offers discerning travellers a restful and rejuvenating haven from which to explore the Upper Blue Mountains.French doors and picture windows take in expansive views of the forest outside where you can brunch on the deck and watch the mist lift, revealing the whispering ribbon-gums dotted throughout the gully below. Enjoy an invigorating game of badminton or bocce, or just put your feet up and unwind in comfortable lounges by our inviting stone fireplace. In the evening, book into some of the Upper Mountains delightful restaurants, or simply select one of the latest movies from our free in-house film archive for a restful evening in.

We also offer our Lodge as a 'Suites' configuration for families and smaller groups, which includes the main level, but without the downstairs studio.

- Veer left off the Great Western Highway when you reach Leura, then turn left into Leura Mall at the large roundabout.
- Follow the Mall past the Leura shops and turn right at the bottom roundabout into Megalong Street. Then continue straight ahead until Wilson Street, where you turn right.
- Take the first left turn and drive west up Kanimbla Street.
- Continue straight ahead when the bitumen road turns right into York Street.
- Ribbon-Gum Lodge is about 50m along the dirt road on the right.
