Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES)

WIRES (Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service) care for native animals across NSW, with active volunteers in the Blue Mountains and Nepean.

WIRES Blue Mountains Branch is a full-time operation, with a network of trained volunteers, carers and veterinarians, assisting injured or orphaned native wildlife who have had to adapt to human habitation of their environment.

WIRES mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same.
