In 1994 Springwood Cricket Club celebrated its 100th season, and seventeen years on the club is still going strong. Since its establishment in 1894, Springwood Cricket Club has played on what officially became known as Lomatia Park in January 1895. This makes Springwood Cricket Club the second oldest Cricket Club in NSW.
