Blaxland on Lurline has been equipped with everything you require for a luxurious stay in the Blue Mountains. The house has a lovely atmosphere, receiving generous winter sunlight, while being centrally heated and having an open log fire with a plentiful supply of wood for those chilly mountain evenings. Beautiful vintage and antique furniture enhances the period features of the house.
The house contains 3 queen beds and 1 king single bed and is perfect for a party of 7 people. There is a double sofa bed to accommodate up to 8 people if required. Luxurious bedding including goose down doonas, alpaca blankets and cotton quilts ensure total comfort in all weathers. Top quality linen, towels and toiletries are suppied as is crockery, cutlery and a full complement of cooking equipment. The kitchen has recently been updated and includes top quality European appliances and stone benchtops.
A stay in the Blue Mountains allows you to experience nature at its most rugged and unspoiled during the day, knowing that come the evening, a warm fire and a fine dining experience awaits. A short stroll from Blaxland on Lurline brings you to magnificent Echo Point, one of Australia's most renowned views and truly an awe inspiring sight. Echo Point is the starting point for many famous bush walking tracks, and there are tracks suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Take the kids to the Scenic Railway, or stroll down to the acclaimed Darley's restaurant for a romantic dinner. The very popular PINS on Lurline restaurant is just a few steps down Lurline St (you'll need to book) and Rooster, a traditional French restaurant, just a few blocks away. Solitary restaurant and cafe is a very short drive. Pamper yourself at the Yindi day spa just a block down Lurline St. Visit the many art galleries, antique shops and cafes in Katoomba or spend the day browsing the boutiques and galleries in Leura.

How To Get Here..
Take the M4 from Sydney and head up into the mountains past Wentworth Falls and Leura. Turn left at the main Katoomba entrance and cross over the railway line. Turn left at the first roundabout, go straight through the second roundabout and take the next right turn into Lurline St. Katoomba is about 1.5 hrs drive from Sydney. There is ample off street parking at Blaxland on Lurline.
