| Generally considered part of Blackheath,
Shipley is a small township of its own. To get to Shipley, cross the railway line
at the lights at Blackheath and head towards Megalong Valley where you will turn
into Shipley Road. Shipley
Road takes you to Shipley Plateau where you will find a gallery and tea rooms.
A fork in the road will take you to either Hargraves Lookout overlooking
the beautiful Megalong Valley or Mount Blackheath Lookout which offers views of
the Kanimbla Valley. Shipley is a great place to unwind for a picnic.
