is a diatreme or volcanic neck. It includes pockets of native shrubs and trees
interspersed with grassy areas with easy walks to the Nepean River. |

| Directions: | Turn
into Ross Street from the Great Western Highway. (Located on the corner you will
see Glenbrook Theatre and the Ampol Service Station). Continue down Ross Street
and then turn left into Burfitt Parade which becomes Bruce Road. Bruce Road takes
you straight into the Blue Mountains National Park. (7 km from Great Western Highway.
Some unsealed sections of road.) | back

GLEN - Woodford | | About
Murphy's Glen: | A
secluded camping area in a diatreme or volcanic neck. Surrounded by a forest of
tall eucalypts, turpentines and angophoras. A few steep sections and a short walk
through rainforest takes you to Bedford Creek. | | Information: | Pit
toilets available. Please bring your own drinking water and a fuel stove.
Please take your rubbish home with you. | | Directions: | At
the western end of Woodford, turn off the Great Western Highway at Park Road.
From Park Road, turn into Railway Parade and then Bedford Road near the Woodford
Railway Station. Continue 5 km along Bedford Road (1 km sealed, 4 km unsealed)
until you reach the camping area. The road has some steep sections which can become
slippery and rough after rain. |

the top of Boddington Hill in Wentworth Falls, turn off the Great Western Highway
into Tableland Road. Take a left turn into Queen Elizabeth Drive and follow this
unsealed road for approximately 11 km. If it has been raining, some steep sections
may be slippery. | back

the edge of the Grose Valley, there are 5 camping sites in ideal locations for
walks into the valley. | | Information: | NO
CAMPFIRES Restricted Vehicle Access. Walk in camping only. Pit toilets
available. Please bring your own drinking water and a fuel stove. Please
take your rubbish home with you. | | Directions: | Turn
off the Great Western highway at Hat Hill Road, Blackheath. From there it is a
2.5 km on sealed road and a further 5.5 km on unsealed road to the camping area. |
