We have enjoyed the first half of the term which included: school photographs; Sydney West Drama Festival; debates; open night;Rugby League; the Bridges to Understanding concert at the Sydney Town Hall; Grandparents Day; a Disco run by the school captains; the athletics carnival; the launch of the play program conducted by trained Year Five students; a visit from Oz Opera and a welcome to our new Mandarin teacher, Wang Shu.
The students continue to achieve a high standard of work in exciting and well managed classrooms with teachers who care about learning and have high expectations.
The second half of the term will include the band Eisteddfod; finals of the school Australian Poetry competition; the Nepean Dance Festival; Zone Athletics; Year Four overnight camp at Chowder Bay; Footsteps Dance program; debates; Winmalee Public Speaking competition; Vege garden program; the Springwood Spectacular and the completion of the new building to house the three support classes.
