Springwood United Football Club and Springwood Netball Club registrations are open to all persons turning 5 years or older in the year they wish to register. Our oldest player to date is 69. Registration for the winter season is usually in January/February for football (soccer) and netball. Registration for the spring season is in late August for the afternoon local competition. You must register in person at the Summerhayes Park clubhouse at Hawkesbury Road, Winmalee.Location: Winmalee

Springwood and Districts Basketball Association
The Association runs a domestic competition at the Blaxland High School Sports Centre for Juniors and Seniors. Competitions are run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from Under 12's to Veterans, with Learn to Play & Miniball run on Saturday mornings. The Association is a member of Basketball NSW and has entered Representative teams in the Sydney Junior Championships and State Basketball League as the 'Springwood Scorchers'.Location: Blaxland
Central Tablelands Mountain Bike Club
Based in Lithgow and formed in 1984, the Central Tablelands Mountain Bike Club was one of, if not the first stand-alone mountain bike clubs in Australia. Blue Mountains Kangaroo's Junior AFL Club
The Blue Mountains Junior AFL Club Inc provides a safe and friendly environment for your child to play AFL. Auskick (4-9) develops confidence with foot and hand ball skills in a positive sporting environment. Junior AFL (9-16) continues development within a modified rules system and promotes safety and enjoyment with competition levels. Springwood Cricket Club
In 1994 Springwood Cricket Club celebrated its 100th season, and seventeen years on the club is still going strong. Since its establishment in 1894, Springwood Cricket Club has played on what officially became known as Lomatia Park in January 1895. This makes Springwood Cricket Club the second oldest Cricket Club in NSW.Location: Springwood
Blue Mountains Football Club
The Blue Mountains Soccer Club (BMSC) was formed in 1965. The first earthworks for Knapsack Park were started in 1976. Work continued on the fields until they were finished in 1983 when all teams used Knapsack Park as their home ground.Location: Glenbrook
Lapstone Glenbrook Netball Club
Women, men and boys and girls over 13 can play in a twilight netball competition from October to December. Registration takes place on the last weekend in January or the first weekend in February. A one- off fee is payable, which covers the entire season with no ongoing payments. Details are published in the BM Gazette.Location: Glenbrook

Blue Mountains Zone Athletics
The Little Athletics Association of New South Wales has around 40,000 members in approximatly 200 Centres throughout New South Wales. The Centres are arranged into twenty-four zones. The Blue Mountains Zone is comprised of six Centres: Emu Plains, Glenbrook, Katoomba, Kurrajong Bilpin, Lithgow and Springwood. Blackheath Cricket Club
In the 2009/10 season, Blackheath entered two senior and two junior side into the BMCA competition, with very good results, (as can be seen in the ‘Club News’ section). We have a grading commitee, which makes sure players are put into teams according to cricketing ability. We have accredited coaches with full coaching qualifications. We cater for ages 8 and up, male and female players, (female players ARE more than welcome at Blackheath Cricket Club).Location: Blackheath
Wentworth Falls Football Club
From inception back in 1975 the club has steadily grown to and all year round operation by hosting both a Winter and Summer competition. The Winter competition is part of NDSFA and last season fielded 29 teams (300 players) from U6’s through to AA and Premier League. The Summer competition is organised and run in-house with 42 teams (450 players) and this season will be open not only to Senior teams but also to Juniors from ages 9-14.Location: Wentworth Falls
Springwood District Little Athletics Centre
The Club typically has over 300 registered members each season. This is made up of around 225 Little Athletes and 100 seniors normally separated into Boys and Girls teams. Age groups cover the ages of Under 6 to Under 17. 3 and 4 year olds are also able to participate in Saturday morning competition as Tiny Tots. The tots do about an hour of fun activities designed to develop the fundamental skills of running, jumping and throwing through "appropriate" activities.Location: Faulconbridge
