River Deep, Mountain High won the Adventure Tourism category of the 2008 Blue Mountains Tourism Awards. We also achieved Finalist in the NSW Tourism Awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

About the Company

In 2001, the Adventure & Photographic Company merged 2 businesses together, to provide a more diverse and comprehensive adventure portfolio for our clients. These 2 businesses are River Deep, Mountain High (RDMH) and Blue Mountains Ropewerx (BMR). As such, we are the only operator able to offer you both hard and soft adventure activities. The ultimate benefit of this combination gives you “Better Adventures”, which is our branding.

After 13 years (we started in December 1995), we still have a great mix of local and international customers, and enjoy referrals from both domestic and international agents. We network with diverse local accommodation venues, from the 5 star Lilianfels Resort and Spa, to the local hostels.

Transportation

We currently have two late model 4WD vehicles, a 2007 Landrover Discovery 3, and a 2004 Nissan Patrol, both 7 seaters. Our trusty old bus, a Mazda T3500, adds excitement to any adventure.
