Art Deco Katoomba Accommodation
A short stroll to the world famous Echo Point with its Three Sisters and views across the Jamison Valley, The Gatsby is in Katoombas best location. The Gatsby offers guests luxury self-contained cottage accommodation with no detail overlooked. Meticulously furnished in authentic Art Deco style, the cottage sleeps one to three couples in the luxury of days gone by. The main house has two bedrooms, while a self-contained garden cottage can accommodate up to four more.
The two bedrooms in the main house are luxuriously appointed with fine linen and doonas, electric blankets, plush carpets, soft lighting and televisions. A third bedroom in the garden cottage is just a few steps away, comfortably accommodating two to four people.
Bathrooms
The new art-deco bathroom boasts an exquisite double spa bath perfectly placed beneath a leadlight art-deco window. Soft music is piped throughout the cottage, including the bathroom, in readiness to aid your tranquil soak. Complimentary Earlsley & Windsor toiletries, plush bathrobes, slippers, and fluffy towels are also provided.
The garden cottage has its own, well appointed ensuite bathroom.
Kitchen and Dining
The Gatsby has a fully equipped kitchen with continental breakfast provisions consisting of milk, bread, cereals, eggs, butter, juice, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate with marshmallows and various spreads and condiments for your first day. There is an elegant dining setting for six as well as an outdoor dining area and BBQ for alfresco meals.
Other Features
The cottage is centrally heated throughout, with a gas-log fireplace, cosy lounge/dining room with flat screen TV, Austar, DVD, Hi-Fi, CDs, DVDs, books and games.

How To Get Here..
BY CAR - travel by car is the most popular means of transport to the Blue Mountains. The entrance to the Blue Mountains at Glenbrook/Lapstone is only around 50 minutes drive from Sydney.
FROM THE CITY - Follow the signs to Parramatta. The M4 Motorway starts at Strathfield and takes you through to Lapstone in the Blue Mountains.
FROM RICHMOND - An alternative route to the Blue Mountains is via Bells Line of Road which starts at Richmond and takes you through to Mount Tomah and Bell, and across to Mount Victoria. This drive is extremely pleasant through the vast Blue Mountains National Park, a contrast to the main thoroughfare of the Great Western Highway.
FROM OUTER WEST - If you are travelling from the outer west, follow the signs to Lithgow, then through to Hartley where you will enter the Blue Mountains via Victoria Pass taking you straight to the top at Mount Victoria.
DISTANCE FROM SYDNEY to Leura is 119kms and 122km's to Katoomba.
BY TRAIN It is a 2 hour train ride, sit back, relax and take in the sites. Train services run almost hourly from Central Station to Wentworth Falls, Leura., Katoomba, Medlow Bath, Blackheath, Mount Victoria, Bell, Zig Zag and Lithgow. BY COACH - Relax and take a coach tour to/from the Blue Mountains. There are a number of tour company companies located within the Blue Mountains and Sydney region.
