Conferences at Parklands

	The architect who designed Parklands was requested to provide the best accommodation in the Blue Mountains, and to include a Studio that was to be attached to the main house. This was to be a special room with plenty of natural light and extensive views past the 100 year old oaks, down along the old golf course.
When completed, the Studio fulfilled all expectations. The wooden floor boards and the high timber lined ceiling captured the light, accentuating the effect of large terrace doors opening onto a patio in the garden. It has now been converted into the perfect meeting room, with soundproof doors ensuring complete privacy.

	Guests to Parklands comment on the wonderful feeling of relaxation and peace that they enjoy during their stay. The tranquillity of Parklands is something special and the Studio, with its refreshing simplicity, provides a stimulating and creative environment that is an important ingredient for constructive and successful meetings.
The Studio can seat up to 10 around a boardroom table or 12 in a "U" arrangement or lecture style seating, making it ideal for board, strategy or executive meetings, sales conferences and training seminars. Parklands' accommodation consists of 6 Garden Suites and 6 Loft Rooms and a further private room in the West wing of the main house. One of the Garden Suites has full disabled facilities.

	Tea is served on the patio outside the Studio, on the main verandah or, depending upon the weather, in front of a log fire in the sitting room.
Lunch can be served on the main verandah or indoors, and dinner can range from a barbecue to a full menu prepared by one of the Mountains' leading chefs.
