Gamers, Muster your Meeples!

Coinciding with Springwood Foundation Day, Springwood Library will be opening its doors for this worldwide event and partnering with the awesome gamers from local games shop, Afternoonified, to introduce the latest and greatest board games around.
Ditch the devices and go old-school for a day of learning, interaction and fun with over 40 games of strategy and thrills to choose from and tuition in how to play. Try your hand at Ticket to Ride, a cross-country train adventure connecting cities in various countries around the world, or Catan, where you find yourself in the era of discoveries, your ship has finally reached the coast of an uncharted island but you are not the only discoverer and the race to settle the island has begun!
There will be Small World, Machi Koro, Carcassonne, Colt Express, Dixit and more so be prepared to go on a journey of learning and discovery like no other and, in case you were wondering, what is a meeple? It’s a little wooden character representing the player in many modern board games. Who said all the cool stuff happens online?!
Held in conjunction with International Tabletop Day from 11.00am to 3.00pm this is a FREE event for all ages.
