Blue Green Algae Alert Lifted at Lake Lyell
The reduction in temperatures and recent rainfall has assisted in the reduction in Blue Green Algae at Lake Lyell and resulted in improved water quality. It has now been declared safe, and is open for all forms of recreation.
Further information on algae alerts is available from the algal information line maintained by the NSW Office of Water, at 1800 999 457 or the NSW Office of Water web page.
