| When visiting the mountains why not go back in time and catch a movie at Mount Vic Flicks... | |
The cinema is a family owned, independent single screen, offering excellent value for money with friendly service. Acknowledged by many as a fine example of what country hall "Pictures" used to be. Located in the historic village of Mount Victoria, the cinema is situated in the Mount Victoria Public Hall, built in 1934. The cinema was re-established in 1987. With screenings Thursday to Sunday and daily during school and public holidays, the cinema is a unique way to sample a wonderful olde time 1940's atmosphere. The cinema is also one of eight significant cinemas listed on the Australian cinema map. The latest movies are presented on the big screen with stereo sound and the cinema is heated for your comfort. With affordable admission prices and a well stocked candy bar, why not bring the whole family. Special screenings and groups catered for. Only a short walk from Mount Victoria railway station. Plenty of unlimited, unrestricted parking... |
