Acknowledged by many as a fine example of what country hall "Pictures" used to be. Located in the historic village of Mount Victoria, the cinema is situated in the Mount Victoria Public Hall, built in 1934. The cinema was re-established in 1987. With screenings Thursday to Sunday and daily during school and public holidays, the cinema is a unique way to sample a wonderful olde time 1940's atmosphere. The cinema is also one of eight significant cinemas listed on the Australian cinema map.
