Kurrara (meaning high campsite), began its colourful life
as a land grant in 1897 to Mr James Henry Neale.
The house was built on the site in 1902 and began its tradition
as a guest house the following year.

Originally run by Ms Wilkins until 1917, it was described in an advertisement of the time as being 'a First class establishment, of elevated position with excellent cuisine'.

Over the next 20 years Kurrara bed and breakfast continued to delight travellers
to the mountains. Its handful of proprietors have contributed
to the charm and character that we see today.

For your romantic getaway, for wek end in front
of a fire place, or relaxing in your spa.
