Blackheath Choir Festival

When:
Every day until Sun 26 Aug 2012
Details:
The Blackheath Choir Festival is always held over the last weekend in August, and this year 30 choirs will perform individually, between them singing ancient, modern, classical, folk, pop, comedy, opera, jazz, cabaret, traditional, chamber, gospel, world music and original compositions.

There are six concerts of approximately two hours, with five choirs in each (see website for programme). Concluding on Sunday afternoon with the Festival Combined Choir, singing Mozart's Coronation Mass in C major.

“The friendliest choir festival in the world” is not a competition - it's all about the music!
