Peartree Cottage is just 10 minutes' stroll away from Leura's internationally renowned village centre which is National Trust listed in its entirety. The village has a diverse range of fine cafes, restaurants and shops - even gourmet take-aways for those determined to "totally relax ".

Surrounded at it is by the Blue Mountains National Park Leura has many world-class walking tracks and lookouts just a few minutes away. The unique "Leuralla Toy and Train Museum" is perched on the dramatic escarpment of the Jamieson Valley and will enthral old and young alike. It is an easy 10-15 minute stroll through some of the Blue Mountains' most interesting street-scapes.

Golfers will be aware that Leura features one of Australia's most scenically dramatic golf-courses. It can easily be reached on foot or by car from "Peartree Cottage".
