delightful gardens, Avonleigh was originally constructed in 1916 to serve as a gentleman's
country residence, being one of the original grand homes of the area.
Largely untouched by the ravages of time, Avonleigh has now been meticulously restored and enlarged to recapture the ambience of a past, less hurried age.
Decor and furnishings (many locally collected) have been designed to recreate the era ... original lofty ornate ceilings are here to admire, works of art and tapestries adorn the walls and open fires crackle in winter. |
