The Allendale Gardens

Bordering the Blue Mountains National Park, both cottages overlook a rambling garden of rhododendrons and azaleas in spring; the spectacular colours of autumn; the excitment of snow in winter; summer roses; plus masses of bulbs and colourful native plants throughout the year. All with a dramatic backdrop of Blue Mountains eucalyptus and rainforest.

In the lower garden, a natural spring bubbles up, creating a pond and a valley of coral ferns. Colourful native birds are attracted to the natural setting and the unique, quiet and very private location of nine acres.

You can walk from your cottage into the Blue Mountains National Park, to some of the most spectacular scenery, lookouts, waterfalls and walks the area has to offer. Or, for an easy and pleasant 1km stroll, via the duck pond and park, to the lively village, with cafes, restaurants, galleries, antique and specialty shops to discover, explore and enjoy.
