Recent Activity

The Blue Mountains SES has assisted the NSW Police with a search for a missing person on Wentworth Falls lake. The SES responded their flood boat which Police Divers utilised specialised sonar equipment to attempt to locate the missing person.

Flood Operation - Bourke

The Blue Mountains SES sent an operations team to Bourke to assist the management of a flood operation at the start of 2010.

The Blue Mountains SES trains volunteers in both flood boat and operational management roles so our members are able to be deployed to areas in the most need.

Rescue Competition

Blue Mountains SES Rescue Team came second in the 2009 Regional Rescue Competition held at Londonderry on the 4th April. The winners were from Hawkesbury SES and Parramatta came third.
