  • Members of the Friends of the Gardens will receive a 15% discount by booking on (02) 9231 8182. 
  • Payment in full is required 7 days prior to the tour date and can be made by credit card over the phone. 
  • Ecotours can be tailored to meet your group's special needs (including conferences, special interests etc.) and accommodation packages can be arranged. 
  • Mount Tomah Botanic Garden is only 2 hours drive (105 km) west of Sydney, in the peaceful surrounds of the nrthern Blue Mountains (public transport not available; group transport can be arranged).

Ecotour Conditions

  • A reasonable level of fitness is recommended for participants, with 2-3 hours of walking along 4km of bush trails, including some steep sections and steps. The Royal Botanic Gardens, its agents, employees sub-contractors accept no liability for injury, damage, delay or loss of any kind.
  • Participants should wear sensible clothing, eg. walking shoes and clothes and clothes suited to the prevailing conditions
  • The tour leader has the right to refuse and person they feel is not capable of completing the tour - in which case the participant can join the rest of the group for lunch.

Cancellations and Refunds

 
  • A full refund will be given if the operator cancels the ecotour because of insufficient numbers or adverse conditions, or for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the tour date. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations 1-5 days prior to the tour but no refund will be given for cancellations within 24 hours.
