Buildings are modern and built on a beautiful site of undulating grounds surrounded by Blue Mountains National Park.

An experienced and dedicated staff

Professional staff with a wealth of specialist skills are in touch with current educational developments.

Excellent sporting fields and adventure playground

Successful fundraising by the local community and the resources of the State Government have enabled the development of high quality sports fields which have assisted teachers to implement comprehensive physical education programs.
Lapstone Public School, although one of the smaller schools in the district, has achieved great success in inter-school sporting competitions in netball, soccer, newcombe ball, swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals.
Quality educational programs
  • Literacy programs emphasise reading, writing, listening, speaking and debating, foster critical thinking and love of literature.

  • Computer education is integrated with all areas of the curriculum. All the school’s computers are networked and all students have their own internal email address.
  • Enrichment programs extend students with identified gifts and talents.
