Featherdale Wildlife Park at Doonside (near Blacktown) is Sydneys ultimate interactive wildlife experience. The Park is conveniently located just 40mins from Sydneys CBD and is en route to the famous Blue Mountains.
Open daily 9am-5pm.
Location...Situated on 7 acres of natural bush setting and home to the worlds largest collection of Australian native animals, you are able to get up close and personal with over1,700 animals from more than 280 different species.

With over 1,700 mammals, birds and reptiles, our comprehensive collection of Australian species awaits your visit. You can meet a Koala, feed the Kangaroos and Wallabies, admire the size of our enormous Saltwater Crocodile "Ngukkur", visit the Ghost Bat & Bilby Nocturnal Exhibit, Farmyard Nursery, Reptilian Pavilion, Tasmanian devils, dingos, echidnas, wombats, little penguins, a diverse range of birds and much more.
Facilities...There's a Kitchen and Cafe on site with an abundance of great food and beverage choices for the whole family, and a HUGE retail store for you to find the ultimate keepsake from your trip to Featherdale!

How To Get Here..
By public transport
Train to Blacktown, then a 10min ride on bus #729 from the station drops you right outside the park gates.
Getting there by car
Via the M2/M7 (South/West bound): The M2 becomes the M7. Take the Richmond Road exit and then turn left onto Richmond Road and travel towards Blacktown for 5km. Turn right onto Lyton Street and continue for 1.2km. Turn right onto Kildare Road and follow for 900m to reach Featherdale.
Via the M7 or M4: Take the Wallgrove Road exit and follow the brown tourist signs straight to the park.
