High School Spring Fair and Art Expo | Held
in September each year, this is the school's major fundraiser which attracts students,
friends, family and the community. The Fair features, a raffle with major prizes;
rides, games, food and variety stalls. The Art & Craft Expo features the Young
Artist Awards open to artists 16 - 25 years of age. |

Rhododendron Festival |
Blackheath's
Annual Rhododendron Festival is held in November each year. The Festival weekend
is the first weekend in November. With so many activities and attractions each
year, the Rhododendron Festival is not to be missed. Gardens, Art Exhibitions,
Bikes, Cars, Model Trains on display, Entertainment and much more! |

Gardens Festival |
The
Leura Gardens Festival, held annually in October. The most famous of the spring
garden displays in The Blue Mountains lays out the welcome mat for local and international
guests. | |

Van" Puppet Festival | | The
beautiful village of Blackheath is the perfect environment for the second Puppet
Festival. The Festival is called "One Van" to celebrate the wonderful
puppetry performers who travel this vast country in their vans bringing quality
entertainment to the most remote regions. | | Christmas
in the Mountains |
Held
annually on Glenbrook Oval on the second Saturday before Christmas. The evening's
entertainment includes local school items, traditional carols and a re-enactment
of the Christmas story complete with a donkey, camels, sheep and goats. Markets
were introduced in 2002 from 4.00pm. Produced by Blue Mountains City Church of

Mountains Fine Food Festival |  |
| The Fine Food
and Wine Festival Food with Altitude
Fair will be held at Blackheath annually
in May. Our aim is to further promote the
Blue Mountains as a destination for fine
dining and wining experiences, and we are
seeking expressions of interest from selected
food and wine outlets. |

High School P&C Art Show |

| Springwood High School P&C Art Show annually
in August. Featuring over 1000 pieces from well known artists, potters and craftspeople.
Winners of the Art Prize and Heritage prize will be announced, and the winner
of the raffle will become the proud owner of a painting from the featured artist.
All proceeds will go towards purchasing equipment for the school students. |

Magic Festival |
| Katoomba
Winter Magic is the largest event on the Blue Mountains calendar and is organised
exclusively by the community, celebrating the change of seasons and the strong
sense of community that is part of living in the Blue Mountains. |
